This Privacy Policy describes how OverX (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Refresher – Breathing & Meditation mobile application (“the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

| Display Name | Personalization, voice guidance | No (stored on-device only) |
| Health Data (Heart Rate) | Session biofeedback via Apple HealthKit | No |
| Purchase History | Subscription management | No (managed by Apple & RevenueCat) |
| App Interaction Data | Usage analytics, feature improvement | No |
1.1 Anonymous Device Identifier
We generate a random anonymous identifier stored in your device’s Keychain. This ID is not linked to your Apple ID, name, email, or any personally identifiable information. It is used solely for anonymous analytics and optional leaderboard participation.
1.2 Display Name
You may optionally enter a display name during onboarding. This name is stored exclusively on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if iCloud is enabled). We do not transmit your display name to our servers.
1.3 Health Data
With your explicit permission, the App reads heart rate data from Apple HealthKit during breathing sessions. This data is used solely to display real-time biofeedback within the App. Health data is stored on your device and synced via iCloud (Apple’s infrastructure) only. We never transmit health data to our servers or any third party.
1.4 Purchase History
Subscription and purchase transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.). RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to manage your subscription status. For RevenueCat’s privacy practices, see RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
1.5 Analytics
We collect anonymous usage analytics (session completions, feature usage, app events) through our own analytics infrastructure. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.). Analytics data is associated only with your anonymous device ID and cannot be used to identify you personally. You can disable analytics at any time in the App’s Settings.
2. iCloud Sync
The App uses Apple’s iCloud services to sync your data across your devices:
- CloudKit syncs your breathing session history
- Key-Value Store syncs your preferences and settings
This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
